Ophelia Ariadne

Ophelia Ariadne is a singer, instrumentalist and composer. Her music includes blues influences mixed with fresh folk music and complex jazz harmonies with catchy pop melodies. Bandleader and side-woman, she is based in Leipzig and Weimar, Germany.
Ophelia Ariadne began her musical education through taking classical violin lessons and participation in various choirs.
As a teenager she began learning guitar and started developing her music. She founded her first bands and performed at festivals, book - presentations, exhibition openings and weddings.
Since 2016 she takes classical, pop and jazz singing lessons and since October 2018 she studies improvised singing at the Hochschule für Musik Franz Liszt in Weimar by Michael Schiefel and Jeff Cascaro.
Ophelia Ariadne currently takes part in international programs like at „Caravan Orchestra & Choir“ in Israel and Big Band projects like LJBB Thüringen or VOCAL ART Frankfurt RheinMain.
Her debut album, "Foreign Scents" was released in March 2020.
